Maybe you already said this but, how old is he? Have you ever had problems with him trying to separate the kids from their mother? I have been reading about all these things that LGD's try to do when their young, and it worries me that ours might try it.
Hi Kimberly, Asher's about 6 months old. He knows which goat is mama and has been keeping the other does away from mama and babies. Phoebe, unfortunately, is not a very doting mother and Asher is very happy to play "nanny" when she leaves the kids to go graze.
I've read all the articles on LGD and I think they just made me paranoid that he'd have all the problems. He doesn't :)
Awwwww!!!! What a good boy ☺

They are precious, all of them.
ReplyDeleteWhat a good dog. Thank goodness he was there and knew what was going on. I'm so glad he found her and all is well.
ReplyDeleteAnd isn't that the biggest full mon ever? Surely my Sandy will have her kids soon? I hate all this waiting. And you have 2 more to go?
One more now :)
DeleteI'm on my way to your blog to see if the moon worked its magic on Sandy!
